Voigtlander Leica Mount Lenses: Bridging the screw mount and M mount systems, most Voigtlander Leica mount lenses are screw mount to allow their use on both screw mount cameras and M mount cameras, with the standard Leica designed screw mount to M adapter. The 21/4P, 25/4P, 35/1.2, 35/2.5 PII, 40/1.4 and 50/2 lenses are only made in M mount. Newbies sometimes think it is better to have a fixed mount M lens on a M mount camera.
